Our three areas of operation

Our three principal operating areas are the medical equipment, defence and precision engineering industries. Most of our customers are drawn from these sectors and we have adapted our operations to meet the specialist requirements of these industries.

All of our customers set demanding targets for quality and all want products to be traceable. However, each sector also has its own specific requirements, for example clinical levels of cleanliness for medical equipment manufacturing, secrecy for defence industry projects and scrupulous attention to detail for the precision engineering industry.

Read more about these areas of operations.

Medical equipment sector
Our medical equipment sector produces items such as surgical instruments and medical implants. This sector sets extremely high standards for quality, accuracy and traceability. It is also vitally important that production meets clinical standards of cleanliness. Over the years we have adapted our operations to satisfy these requirements and have created working processes specially adapted for this sector.

Defence industry
When producing components for the defence industry, high levels of confidentiality and security are essential and the quality and traceability/follow-up of components is also extremely important. We have produced components for the defence industry for several years and understand the importance of discretion, efficiency and scrupulous attention to detail.

Precision engineering industry
It is vitally important to be able to provide fast order turnarounds and to meet delivery dates in the precision engineering sector. Our products are often a small component in an extremely long production chain, which means that we have to supply large volumes at exactly the right moment. This type of ”delivery on demand” sets exacting targets for logistics and precision – but we have become specialists in these areas over the years.
